Apart from 332 rooms, the hotel also provides a 3000 sqm convention centre with 12 meeting rooms and exhibition whole hotel interior spaces, was commissioned to ILATAAJ, with a principal brief from Tauzia Hotel Management to have a fresh new look for the Harris brand. The new palette was dominantly realised with a combination of various soft white finishes and a light toned timber laminate. Structural columns and cores were accentuated in their raw quality with plain fibre cement planks cladding. A series of armour’ made of curved composite metal panels, in a tone close to the Harris brand colour, are laid out to round the edges of these structural main highlights, a grand staircase and a custom made chandelier, define the main entry experience by occupying a double height void connecting the lobby and the restaurant. Special lighting is created by illuminating a composition of numerous solid cylindrical glass segments. Exaggerating the stair path length provided animated vistas around the chandelier while traveling between the two levels. The stair and the bar was designed as one continuous strip, serving as balustrade above and seamlessly turn as the bar counter at ground of ceiling manipulations are clearly at play in this project. Linear constant cove lighting at ceiling level serves for navigational purpose in some areas, guiding circulatory flow from the lifts to the lounge, the mall, or to the lobby. Various layers of dropped ceiling are clearly set at different levels, plain white base, large surface of acoustic absorption, linear planes as the base for downlights. These dropped surfaces would all fold back vertically to orientate and provide maximum opening towards glazed facades. Bursa kerja nasional bertema “Face The Future With Confidence” tersebut menyediakan lowongan kerja meliputi 768 jabatan dari 130 perusahaan di berbagai sektor seperti manufaktur, retail, mining, trading, human resources, otomotif, food & beverages dan start-up. “Kegiatan ini merupakan komitmen nyata pemerintah dalam rangka mempercepat penurunan angka pengangguran di Indonesia,” kata Menteri Ketenagakerjaan M Hanif Dhakiri dalam rilis yang diterima CNBC Indonesia di Jakarta, Kamis 4/4/2019. Hanif menambahkan, bursa kerja nasional itu sengaja diadakan di Kota Bekasi karena angka pengangguran di Bekasi tercatat masih tinggi, yaitu sebesar 9 persen. Angka tersebut lebih tinggi dari pada angka pengangguran nasional yang berada pada level 5,34 persen. “Bursa Kerja Nasional ini juga menyediakan lowongan pekerjaan untuk difabel dalam rangka memberikan kesempatan yang sama kepada seluruh pencari kerja di Indonesia dan saya berharap dalam kegiatan ini akan menyerap tenaga kerja baru secara masif,” ungkap Hanif. Lebih lanjut Hanif mengatakan, penyelenggaraan bursa kerja seharusnya tidak hanya menyediakan lapangan kerja, tapi juga bisa memfasilitasi orang untuk berkonsultasi dan membangun kolaborasi dengan perusahaan pemberi kerja. Pelaksana Tugas Kepala Dinas Tenaga Kerja Kota Bekasi Sudirman mengatakan, penyelenggaraan bursa kerja ini sejalan dengan visi dan misi yang akan dicapai Kota Bekasi di bidang ketenagakerjaan. “Kegiatan ini sejalan dengan pencanangan misi pembukaan peluang 150 ribu tenaga kerja baru melalui peningkatan kompetensi, pengembangan usaha baru, dan penyelenggaraan bursa tenaga kerja,” ujar Sudirman. *
